Aditya Dhar's film 'Dhurandhar,' starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal continues to exceed expectations at the box office. After only ten days, the film has earned an impressive Rs 351.75 crore, making it the biggest second weekend ever.
While 'Dhurandhar' had a decent start, its performance quickly surpassed initial projections, fueled by positive word-of-mouth. The film's second Friday earnings actually exceeded its opening day numbers. The second weekend saw collections exceeding Rs 110 crore, accumulated on Saturday and Sunday alone.
Prior to its second Monday, 'Dhurandhar' had already grossed Rs 207 crore in its first week. The second Friday brought in Rs 32 crore, followed by a 63 percent increase on Saturday, with earnings reaching Rs 53 crore – surpassing the first Saturday's numbers. The movie made around Rs 59 crore on its second Sunday, resulting in the biggest second Sunday and weekend numbers ever, exceeding Rs 100 crore. The film's total earnings reached Rs 357.84 crore by its second Monday.
'Dhurandhar' has broken records in North America as well. With its successful second weekend, it surpassed Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2' to achieve the highest second-weekend earnings for any film. The movie's second Monday began with Rs 7.09 crore earned by afternoon.
