Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continues its strong box office run, crossing Rs 180 crore in just six days with consistently high daily earnings. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film’s real-world geopolitical backdrop and powerful ensemble cast have contributed to its growing momentum and industry acclaim.
Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. The Aditya Dhar–directed action drama, which released on December 5, 2025, has continued its strong momentum by maintaining double-digit earnings even on day six.
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 26.50 crore on day 6, pushing its total to an impressive Rs 180 crore, a major milestone for the cast and the team behind one of the year’s most anticipated releases.

The film marks Aditya Dhar’s return to the director’s chair after six years, with his last outing being the 2019 blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike. Ahead of release, Dhurandhar sparked speculation about being based on Major Mohit Sharma, but the filmmaker clarified that the story is grounded in real-world geopolitics, drawing inspiration from covert R&AW operations. The plot particularly takes cues from Operation Lyari, the Pakistan government’s intense crackdown on Karachi’s crime-ridden Lyari region.
The film’s daily box office performance has been remarkably consistent, earning Rs 28 crore on day 1, Rs 32 crore on day 2, Rs 43 crore on day 3, Rs 23.25 crore on day 4, Rs 27 crore on day 5, and Rs 26.50 crore on day 6, bringing its total collection to an impressive Rs 180 crore.
The industry has taken note of the film’s upward trajectory, with stars like Akshay Kumar and filmmakers including Siddharth Anand and Madhur Bhandarkar praising the film and its performance.
Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
