Relive the most creative Red Bull Tetris plays of 2025! From extreme sports to aerial acrobatics, see how players took the game to the next level.
The inaugural 2025 season of Red Bull Tetris saw over seven million games played during the Qualifying Phase alone. With that many players, it's no surprise that people found some truly unique ways to enjoy the experience, incorporating the game into their daily lives and training routines, sometimes to the point of obsession.
Now that the World Final has concluded and a champion has been crowned, let's look back at ten of the most inventive and outlandish ways people engaged with Red Bull Tetris during its first year.
**Gravity-Defying Tetris**
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team arguably found the most jarring way to play – though it certainly looked like fun.
Polish creator Kamil Siwiński managed to keep his score up (and his stomach down) while experiencing an aerobatic G flight with pilot Luke Czepiela. Czepiela himself, like the finalists, has a history of high-flying feats, having landed a plane on top of a Dubai skyscraper.
**Tetris on the Go**
In some regions, players could even find Red Bull Tetris on a special-edition Red Bull Tetris 'can' that doubled as a functioning game console.
Turkish BMX athlete Bora Altıntaş took his Tetriminos to the edge, skillfully playing one-handed while riding his bike precariously close to a steep drop.
**Ball Skills**
Proving their competitive spirit extends to all areas, Austrian ballers showed off their skills by dribbling a ball while simultaneously playing Tetris.
**Dance Moves**
For two-time Red Bull BC One India winner B-Girl Glib (Simran Ranga), stacking up points was part of her daily routine. She incorporated the game into her floor moves, racking up points while practicing her choreography. Whether she's won a battle this way remains to be seen.
**Balance and Blocks**
Egyptian kiteboarding pro Hamza Ismail made it look easy, scoring 35,272 points while balancing on a board.
Up in Sweden, both Tetriminos and temperatures were plummeting.
**An Egg-cellent Performance**
Then there was the memorable effort from U.S. esports competitor, streamer, and all-around sportsman, Timothy 'iiTzTimmy' An.
**The Ultimate Stage**
Without a doubt, the most exclusive way to play Red Bull Tetris in the 2025 tournament was to reach the World Final. There, Fehmi Atalar of Türkiye and Leo Solórzano of Peru competed for the title as 2,800 drones (1,400 per player) formed Tetriminos against the Dubai Frame. Atalar ultimately claimed victory, but both finalists made history by participating in the first live, playable Tetris game in the sky.
