In a surprising announcement, Carlos Alcaraz, the current world number one, has ended his coaching relationship with Juan Carlos Ferrero. The split concludes a partnership that began when Alcaraz was a teenager.
The 22-year-old Spaniard revealed on Wednesday that he and Ferrero have mutually decided to discontinue their collaboration before the 2026 season.
Neither Alcaraz nor Ferrero has publicly commented on the reasons behind their separation. It remains unclear whether Alcaraz intends to find a replacement for Ferrero.
