The first look at *Border 2* arrived Tuesday at a launch event in Mumbai. The teaser pays homage to the Indian armed forces, echoing the spirit of the original 1997 film, *Border*, and showcasing four war heroes. The release of the teaser coincided with Vijay Diwas, a day that celebrates India's victory in the 1971 war.
The film features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The teaser delivers the intense atmosphere associated with the *Border* films, highlighted by a scene where Deol encourages his troops to shout loud enough to be heard in Lahore, across the border.
Deol reprises his iconic, battle-hardened role, while Dhawan embodies unwavering resolve. Dosanjh portrays a raw resilience amidst conflict, and Shetty displays youthful courage, as glimpsed in the teaser.
*Border 2*, directed by Anurag Singh, is expected to emphasize the themes of brotherhood, sacrifice, and emotional bonds central to the franchise.
The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with JP Films, with production support from Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. *Border 2* is slated to hit theaters on January 23, 2026.
