BOMBSHELL: Russia Was Planning a Massive Terrorist Attack on Europe and the U.S. in 2024

Shocking new story out of The Financial Times (paywalled) that supports a BBC report from last year:
Russia has been conducting a terror war against the rest of Europe for years.
Assassinations, acts of sabotage, you name it. (This article details the scope of this war.)
But this particular story didn’t get the attention it merited. From the BBC last year:
A series of parcel fires targeting courier companies in Poland, Germany and the UK were dry runs aimed at sabotaging flights to the US and Canada, Polish prosecutors say.
Katarzyna Calow-Jaszewska revealed late last month that four people had been arrested and authorities across Europe were investigating the incidents.
Western security officials have now told US media they believe the fires - which happened in July - were part of an orchestrated campaign by Russia’s military intelligence agency, the GRU.
Russia denies being behind acts of sabotage. But it is suspected to have been behind other attacks on warehouses and railway networks in EU member states this year, including in Sweden and in the Czech Republic.
The BBC story came out on 5 November 2024, a tragic day when our attention was elsewhere.

Last week’s release of Trump’s National Security Strategy made one thing brutally clear and that is that the United States is no longer fully shaping its own foreign policy. The document reads like parts of it were written in Moscow and stamped in Washington without anyone even attempting to hide the fingerprints, marking the first time in modern history that an American president has published an official strategy that openly attacks America’s closest allies, encourages the collapse of Europe’s stability, and advances Russia’s strategic objectives point by point — a wholesale adoption of Putin’s worldview disguised as U.S. doctrine.
The NSS does not merely “shift priorities.” It flips seventy-five years of American policy on its head and declares political war on Europe’s democratic institutions while elevating the far-right parties in Europe that Russia has been cultivating for more than a decade. Trump’s team packaged this as a vision for a “new” transatlantic relationship, but the core message is unmistakable, and that is to weaken NATO, fracture Europe, isolate Ukraine, and empower nationalist movements that are openly friendly to Moscow, with every paragraph carrying the same cold, transactional, subservient logic that has defined Trump’s relationship with Russia for decades.
The pattern is clear:

Zelenskyy is insulted and berated to his face. Trump rolls out the red carpet for Putin in Alaska. Aid to Ukraine has stopped. Putin’s government authored the “peace plan” that Trump is pushing. Trump “Cokehead” Junior spreads vicious lies about Ukraine. The U.S. endorses supporting the pro-Russian radical Right in Europe:
In this NSS [National Security Strategy], from its own nativist and nationalistic domestic platform, the Trump administration pledges support for like-minded “patriotic” parties in European liberal democracies who “fight against migration and promote nationalism.” Ex-Prime Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt considers the U.S. is positioning itself “to the right of the extreme right in Europe.”
The document also accuses the European Union “and other transnational bodies” of undermining “political liberty” and “sovereignty”, and censoring “free speech”, a repeat of Vance’s public harangue of European leaders at the Munich Security Conference in February, after which he ostentatiously met with the leader of the ultra-right Alternative for Germany (AfD), while scorning a meeting with outgoing German Chancellor Scholz.
