According to Hindustan Times, Sunny, Bobby, Karan, and other family members reached Haridwar on Tuesday to prepare for the ceremony. The ashes were immersed at a ghat on Wednesday, with only a few people present. Reports suggest that everyone attending had been asked not to disclose any details about the private ritual.

Dharmendra passed away days before his birthday
Dharmendra passed away on 24 November at the age of 89, just days before his 90th birthday on 8 December. Prior to the asthi visarjan, the family hosted a prayer meet in Mumbai on 27 November, called ‘Celebration of Life’. Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rekha, and Aishwarya Rai attended the event to pay their respects.
Hema Malini expressed regret about fans not getting to seen Dharmendra
Filmmaker Hamad Al Reyami shared a conversation he had with Hema Malini at the prayer meet. She expressed her sorrow that fans could not see Dharmendra one last time due to the private funeral. She said, “Then she added, with deep sadness, that she regretted his fans hadn’t had the chance to see him one last time. And she said to me in a motherly tone, ‘Dharmendra, throughout his life, never wanted anyone to see him weak or ill. He hid his pain even from his closest relatives. And after a person passes away, the decision rests with the family’.”
