Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025 in overseas markets, earning a gross of ₹172.2 crore. That said, the reality is a bit more complicated. Dhurandhar is quickly closing in.
Dhurandhar has already grossed ₹150 crore internationally in just 13 days. It is projected to claim the number one spot before the end of its third weekend, establishing a new benchmark for Bollywood releases in 2025. Aditya Dhar’s movie has also climbed to become the third-highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 in overseas markets, surpassing Mohanlal’s L2: Empuraan.

The spy thriller now ranks as the 12th highest-grossing Hindi film ever. It has surpassed the global lifetime earnings of Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, which earned ₹685.19 crore. The next target for Dhurandhar is to surpass Aamir Khan's PK, which grossed ₹792 crores. Following that, the film will compete against Chhaava (₹827.06 crores) to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025 and break into the top 10 Hindi grossers of all time.
