Avatar: Fire and Ash sees a 17% jump in BookMyShow ticket sales in India on Day 2, putting it on track to sell 1 million tickets within 48 hours.


Despite competition, "Avatar: Fire and Ash," the latest installment in James Cameron's Avatar series, is performing strongly in India. The film experienced a significant increase in ticket sales on its second day after a solid initial response.

**Day 2 Sales Surge**

On Saturday, December 20, BookMyShow (BMS) recorded 167,000 ticket sales for "Avatar: Fire and Ash" between 7 AM and 4 PM. This represents a 17% increase compared to the 142,000 tickets sold during the same period on the previous day.

**Approaching 1 Million Tickets**

The film is poised to reach a total of 1 million tickets sold on BMS in India within its first 48 hours. This figure includes pre-sales, which amounted to 473,980 tickets. On its opening day, the movie sold 366,270 tickets via BMS, bringing the cumulative total to 840,200. With Saturday's sales, the 1 million mark is within reach.
