'Akhanda 2' Box Office: Balakrishna Film Earns ₹46 Cr in First Two Days

Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Akhanda 2: Thaandavam' has made a strong debut at the box office, earning approximately ₹46 crore in its first two days.
Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest film, 'Akhanda 2: Thaandavam', is off to a flying start, having amassed around ₹46 crore at the box office within its first two days of release.
The highly anticipated action film, which actually opened the day before its official release (Thursday) with ₹8 crore in earnings, saw a significant jump on Friday, collecting approximately ₹22.5 crore across all languages. According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk, 'Akhanda 2' continued its strong performance on Saturday, adding another ₹15.50 crore to its India net total.
**Occupancy Trends Show Growth**
The Telugu (2D) version of the film recorded an overall occupancy rate of 37.04 percent on Saturday. Morning shows started at 28.86 percent occupancy, which steadily increased throughout the day, reaching 50.14 percent for afternoon shows, 57.84 percent for evening shows, and peaking at 68.48 percent for night shows. The Telugu (3D) version also saw a similar upward trend, with night shows reaching an occupancy of 47.39 percent.
With these figures, 'Akhanda 2: Thaandavam' has crossed the ₹46 crore mark in just two days at the Indian box office.
