42 IndiGo flights cancelled at Bengaluru airport on December 3

IndiGo cancels 42 flights at Bengaluru airport, citing technology issues and operational challenges. On December 2, 20 IndiGo flights were cancelled.


Several IndiGo flights have been cancelled for the second consecutive day at the Kemegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.
On December 3, a total of 42 flights were cancelled β€” 22 arrivals and 20 departures. All the flights that were cancelled were domestic flights.
Flights arriving from Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Goa, Kolkata and Lucknow were cancelled, and departures to Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad were also affected.
IndiGo stated that the flight delays and some cancellations were due to various reasons.
”We have had several unavoidable flight delays and some cancellations in the past few days due to various reasons, including technology issues, airport congestion, and operational requirements. Our teams are working diligently to ensure that operations normalise as soon as possible. Furthermore, we are offering alternate flight options or refunds to affected customer, as applicable. We regret the inconvenience caused inconvenience caused to our valued customers due to these disruptions. We request customers to check the latest flight status at https://www.goindigo.in/check-flightstatus.html before heading to the airport, to help us minimise inconvenience,” the airline said in a statement.
On December 2, 20 IndiGo flights were cancelled.
