Skoda is gearing up for an exciting 2026 with plans to launch four new cars, including the Superb sedan and a Kushaq Facelift. Here's what to expect.
Following a year of notable releases, Skoda is setting the stage for an even busier 2026, with at least four new models expected. Here’s a preview of what’s in store:
**Skoda Superb**
The Skoda Superb garnered significant attention at the Bharat Mobility Expo, particularly its 2.0-liter diesel engine. Although initially anticipated this year, its launch has been postponed to 2026. The Superb will be introduced in India via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route, leading to a higher price point. Current estimates place its on-road price in Mumbai around Rs 65 lakh. While an exact launch date is yet to be announced, it's expected sometime in the first quarter of the year.
**Skoda Kushaq Facelift**
Skoda is also planning a facelift for the Kushaq. This update seems timely, especially after the introduction of the Kylaq. Skoda aims to enhance the Kushaq's value proposition, potentially by introducing Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), a first for Skoda in India. There are also rumors of segment-first features, such as massaging rear seats, but confirmation will have to wait until closer to the launch.
