Mahindra has released a teaser showcasing the interior of the upcoming 2026 XUV 7XO. Pre-bookings are now being accepted for Rs 21,000. Key features unveiled.
Mahindra is gearing up to launch the updated and renamed XUV 700, now known as the XUV 7XO, on January 5, 2026. Ahead of the official debut, the company has released a teaser providing a glimpse of the vehicle's interior design. Pre-bookings are currently open for ₹21,000.
The teaser highlights a triple-screen display, a feature already seen in Mahindra's newer electric SUVs like the XEV 9s and XEV 9e. This setup integrates a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a dedicated passenger-side entertainment display.
The XUV 7XO's cabin showcases a beige and tan color scheme, creating a more spacious and premium feel. Other notable features visible in the teaser include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, ambient lighting on the door panels and dashboard, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats.
The SUV also incorporates a two-spoke illuminated steering wheel, previously featured in Mahindra's electric SUV models. The front passenger seat includes a powered boss mode, and power adjustment controls for the co-driver seat are also present.
Rounding out the interior features is a Harman Kardon audio system, seemingly carried over from Mahindra's electric vehicles. Mahindra has previously teased the exterior design of the XUV 7XO.
Beyond the features revealed in the teaser, the XUV 7XO is expected to offer dual-zone automatic climate control and massaging front seats. Six-seater variants may also include rear ventilated seats for enhanced comfort, along with a second wireless charger and sliding middle-row seats.
For safety, the XUV 7XO is likely to come equipped with up to seven airbags (six as standard), electronic stability control, automatic headlamps, a 360-degree camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, an electronic parking brake, and Level 2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features.
The XUV 7XO is anticipated to retain the powertrain options currently available in the XUV700, including both manual and automatic transmissions.
