All three engines are 4-cylinder units and are known for their smooth and vibe-free operations. The 1.5L NA Petrol is offered with lower to mid-spec variants offering buttery smooth performance apt for city commutes, mated to either a 6-speed MT or CVT.
Stepping up from here is the 1.5L Turbo Petrol with around 160 PS of peak power and 253 Nm of peak torque, known for its exhilarating acceleration and its affinity to higher performance. This engine is mated to either a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed quick-shifting DCT. The trusty ol’ 1.5L Turbo Diesel makes its way into the new Seltos while most of the rivals in this segment are ditching the Diesel altogether.
This mile munching machine has oodles of torque to offer which will sip fuel over lakhs and lakhs of mileage across the years. Peak power is 114 bhp and peak torque is 250 Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
