MG Motor India has released the facelifted 2025 Hector and Hector Plus SUVs, with prices starting at Rs 11.99 lakh and going up to Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). While not a complete generational overhaul, the updated SUVs feature subtle yet noticeable changes to their exterior design, interior styling, and available color options.
**Pricing**
- Hector: Rs 11.99 lakh - Rs 19.49 lakh
- Hector Plus: Rs 17.29 lakh onwards
*All prices are introductory and ex-showroom.*
**Design Updates**
The most significant change to the Hector facelift is the front fascia. A larger, bolder grille with prominent chrome elements gives the SUV a more imposing presence. While the split LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights remain the same, the revised bumper adds a refreshed look. The side and rear profiles are largely unchanged, save for new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
**Interior Enhancements**
Inside, the cabin layout remains familiar, now featuring a new dual-tone Ice Grey color scheme. The Hector will continue as a 5-seater SUV, while the Hector Plus facelift will be available in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. The front seats now include extended under-thigh support. MG has also implemented small updates to the trims and finishes, enhancing the cabin's premium feel. The dashboard retains its layered design, dominated by a large portrait touchscreen, complemented by gloss black elements across the dashboard and center console.
**Features and Safety**
The Hector facelift retains a comprehensive feature list, including a 14-inch infotainment screen, panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, 8-color ambient lighting, air purifier, push-button start/stop, powered tailgate, cruise control, and an Infinity sound system.
Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, rain-sensing wipers, parking sensors, and Level-2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
**Powertrain Details**
Currently, the Hector and Hector Plus facelift models are available exclusively with a turbo-petrol engine. MG has announced plans to reintroduce diesel variants for both models in 2026.
